PRACTICE POLICIES

Initial Consultation

I offer free 30-minute consultations to answer any questions and discuss whether my services are a good fit for you. To schedule a free consultation, please see my online calendar. (Bill, can we link my simple practice calendar here?)

Appointments and Cancellations

By scheduling an appointment, you are reserving the therapist’s time commitment exclusively for you. Cancellations and re-scheduled sessions will be subject to a full charge if NOT RECEIVED AT LEAST 24 HOURS IN ADVANCE.  Emergency situations may be granted more flexibility.  Please note that being late for a session does not guarantee a full session hour and may result in losing some of that session time.

Session and Payment Information

The standard meeting time for psychotherapy is 50 minutes. Fees will be discussed during the initial phone consultation. Payment is accepted in the form of cash, check, and credit cards. Clients are responsible for payment of all fees at the time of service.

A monthly receipt of services can be provided upon request if you wish to seek  reimbursement for out-of-network services. Before seeking reimbursement from an insurance provider, it is highly recommended to confirm mental health/behavioral health coverages.

Insurance

I am currently accepting Aetna insurance.
